Brindsi Airport is 24 hrs Operational

Permits

Non schedule operators permit is required for non schedule operators. The operator needs to submit the following documents  5 working days before the date of flight to CAA Italy:

  1. Air Operator Certificate (AOC), with attached Operations Specifications;
  2. indication of the registered office mailing address, fax, e-mail;
  3. right of use of aircraft (whether owned, leased – dry lease – or hired – wet lease);
  4. insurance certificate, drawn up on the standard format of ENAC and valid to cover all aircraft to be used;
  5. Security Program and letter of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Country of the carrier certifying that the Security program complies with ICAO Annex 17.

For Private operations no permit is required.

Crew Visas

Depending on the nationality, crew requires schengen visa.

Customs, Immigration

Customs and Immigration are available at main terminal and can be cleared in 10-15 mins.

Ground handling

The ground handler requires all the information such as aircraft call sign, schedule, crew and passengers information including gender, passport nos and date of births.  Please check with your ground handler in advance for availability of all the required ground equipment.
